Thank you for visiting Ben Appel Disc Golf. Ben enjoys the game both playing and helping other players improve their skills. Growing the sport is a key focus for Ben as he manages local leagues on a weekly basis.
Coaching
Ben has many years coaching experience starting with Tae Kwon Do at a local dojo. He has taken that skillset and transferred it to coaching disc golf. He offers two types of training. One is in the field or on the course and the other is at Treemagnets in Lititz, PA on their indoor simulator. Contact Ben for more information!
About Ben
Ben was born and raised in Lebanon County Pennsylvania. He discovered disc golf in 2020 during the Covid pandemic and has been hooked ever since. He watched a lot of tutorial videos and practiced almost everyday until he was finally ready to compete in the professional division. In 2022 he turned pro and has continued to improve his game each year. In 2024 he started teaching people he would play with how to improve their own form and eventually started doing private lessons. He has competed at multiple silver series events and even played Ledgestone in 2025. He plans on continuing to play at big events but also continue running the local league and club. He is focused on making disc golf fun and enjoyable for the people around him.
